Don, Kay & Donella on USS Independence out of New York



That boat picture was taken in August, 1958 on the USS Independence out of New York headed for Tangier, Morocco. It took seven days to arrive at the port in Algeciras, Spain and then we crossed on a ferry boat to Tangier.
